Edinboro Area Historical Society (123 Water Street, Edinboro; T: 814.734.6109): The Historical Society is located in a building built by Lewis Culbertson in 1861.  The house is named after Aime’ Doucette, an art instructor at Edinboro State Teachers College who purchased the house in 1933. The Society maintains an archival and special collections library, and offers changing exhibits showcasing items from its collections.

Goodell Gardens & Homestead (221 Waterford Street (Route 6N; T: 814.734.6699) Located on a portion of the historic Goodell farm (including a 1930s cabin and 1840s barn), this site offers a variety of gardens, featuring native, pollinator-friendly, rare and extirpated specimens.
