Scouts BSA Maritime Adventure

Scouts BSA Maritime Adventure

Join the Flagship Niagara League at the Erie Maritime Museum on June 16-22 for the Scouts BSA Maritime Adventure. Scouts will be emersed into the nautical history of Erie's lakefront for an entire week. They'll be some of the first people in Erie to sail on the Lettie G. Howard, an historic Schooner built in 1893 in Essex, Massachusetts. They'll learn about maritime culture, history, and take part in several activities designed to teach these lessons hands on. In addition they'll earn the Oceanography, Exploration, and Archaeology merit badges. Scouts will camp on site at the Maritime museum for the week.

There is a limit of 32 Scouts and 3 adults. To hold your spot you'll need to place a $100 non-refundable deposit. We are looking for 2-3 adults who will serve as the leadership for the youth on this adventure. Adult selection will be made by the French Creek Council office if more than 3 adults apply.

The cost for youth to attend will be $575 if registered before February 1st. After February 1st will be $625.

The cost for adults will be $550.

More details will be released soon on payment plan options.
